what does the racing rulebook say

i was told (again by someone who rides a 400 ex)that the Z can't be raced at the REAL
RACES.because it has reverse.i would like to settle this.does anyone have a rule book
pertaining to quads racing with reverse.an exact quote would be nice.

I think the person who told you this doesn't know what their talking about. Ask them about the Raptor. It's got reverse and I've seen it race and I've also seen the z race too. What the he11 does reverse have to do with it. A the afraid that you'll run over someone and then decide (just for fun) to put it in reverse and back over them?

The whole point of the reverse **** is to prevent accidental shifting into reverse. They use the same mechanism as the Raptor and it is allowed to race.
