I was playing with the jetting today and I noticed a big difference just by changing the pilot jet. With the stock 22.5 I had to pop the clutch to stand it up in 2nd gear. Also with the 22.5 you have to let the engine wind up before you get a big hit, kinda like a 2-stroke. I changed the pilot to a 27.5 and now it stands up in 2nd with no effort. The 27.5 also smooths out the power band. You get that snap from the bottom, not after the engine winds up. Has anyone else changed pilot jets and what were your results? BTW, I'm running a Uni with no lid, peashooter removed from exhaust.

Hey 250excited what size main jet did you end up with. I have not been able to run mine since I changed it to a 165.

I'm at 145, but you have the HMF slip-on right? You might want to go a little larger. Try the 27.5 pilot, I really like the difference. FYI - Make sure the new pilot matches exactly, there are others that look very similar but it won't run right.

I have a 25 pilot in mine now with a 155 main and noticed a difference on the bottom from the pilot change. I was planning on changing to the 27.5 but now I will for sure.
