I just finished installing a 13 tooth front sprocket and a set of 22" Maxxis All Traks on the back of my Z-400, these tires are really only 21" tall. I lost about 2 mph on top end, at least on paper since mine is not broke in yet. These tires worked pretty well on my old 300EX, seems to slide a little easier in turns now and gaind about 1/2" ground clearance. The sprocket is same as late model RM 250 if you can't find one. Any one else put 22" tires on yet?

I don't have 22's, yet, but have seen pics of a guy's Z with ten inch rims, and 22 inch realtors and talk about sweet. I'll be going with 22's on tens too, but not sure as to which tires yet. I'll be dropping the front sprocket a tooth also which gives the same ratio as the stock setup. I may, depending on how that feels, also go to a 41 tooth in the rear. I cannot wait. Of course I really want the CT Racing pipe and header, but am kinda poor now, so I may just uncork the stocker pipe for the time being and re-jet.

22" Realtors on 10" Douglas Red Labels
bling bling.
heh heh.
I finally got my 13T front sprocket and it helps a heck of a lot with the new tire diameter. I may actually get a 42T rear sprocket too so it'll be "geared down" slightly
FYI about Gearing
Stock: 40/14 = 2.857
40/13 = 3.077 (7.7% increase)
41/13 = 3.154 (10.3% increase)
So, if the stock gearing is good with the 20" stock tires and you upgrade to 22" wheels, you'll need to get 41/13

The Realtors have done really well in the sand (not as good as paddles of course). I haven't done that much trail riding with them yet, but they seem alright. I like to be able to slide my back end a bit and they let me.
If you're all about MX or Trail and want maximum hook up, I'd probably go with RAZR's or Holeshots. I heard RAZR2's are out and are even better.
I didn't want to have sand tires and separate trail tires, that's why I went with the Realtors.

These tires are awesome and work nearly as well as paddles in the sand. Plus, they're a good trail tire, and gnarly muddin tire. http://www.mudtires.com/mt_cat1j.html I think I'm gonna get a pair on ten inch rims, I'm just sold with how good these look and from what the review state, they wear like iron too which sounds good to me.
