Does anybody know if there is a dynajet kit available for the Z400?
Just a replacement for the unadjustable needle would be nice.

Also, does anybody know what the output of the stator is??? nothing mentioned in the owners manual.

yes there is a dynajet kit available, but they won't sell you the needle alone.

I used two no. 4 washers to adjust my needle.

I wouldn't waste my money on a dynajet kit unless you absolutely have to have the most HP.

Corpsi,
Thanks for the info. I usually don't use the dynajet kit but I figured it would be worth it this time to get the needle. Speaking of the needle, is there enough room to put the washers on? I figured that the needle retainer would not lock into place if I made that area thicker as adding washers would do. Did you have a problem pushing the needle retainer back into place with extra washers?

I took the filter cover off, added a WB E-series pipe and now its major lean. I'm thinking a 140 main and raise the needle 2-3 washers or clip positions.

JSsDS, I would try 2 number 4 washers and a 152.5 main with your setup.

Yep, there is plenty of room for the two No. 4 washers. Remember, adding the washers is equivalent to moving the clip down on an adjustable needle. I had no problems putting it back together. This is my first experience with a carb, so I'm not some pro who has done this before. Everything I have done, everyone can do.

Ack, zookyridr is telling you my set up. ( to zookyridr)
If you're going a Unifilter or K&N, you'll definitely need a 152.5
A 140 will be WAAAAAY lean.

I have a 145 main jet if you want to buy it. I can send it to you and you can mail me the $$ when you receive it (if you promise to pay me)
