Hi, I'm 14 years old and I've just purchased my first quad, a quadsport 230. It's maybe not the biggest sport quad but it's my first one and it got a clutch. I would like to get tips to improve my performance. (Tips requiring no money, tips requiring little money and tips requiring mucho money like adding a pipe)
Which pipe would be the best? White Brothers, DG or Cobra? Or would It be better with an universsal one like a megamax or an universal WB?. Could it be as good as a 300EX? with porting, pipe and domed piston?
Thanks a lot

BTW, If you have used parts (nerf bars, bumpers, pipe) that would fit my atv, LMK

He whats up glad to know there's sum other teens on the forum. First step would be to buy pipes and an air filter make sure it is jetted proberly. Then you can look into porting and other goodies. Don't go with the DG pipe i haven't herd that many great about the dg pipes. Good Luck on your knew quad!

All depends on what you want to do and how much money you what to spend.

I would go with a pipe and silencer, air filter, box box mods (holes in lid or remove lid), and rejet the carb.
Also add a set of good tires for your riding conditions.

If have more money, go with a cam, porting, larger carb. valves, and new shocks.

I would have about 300$ for boosting my quad ( I know it's not much) but it's enought for an exhaust system and a kn filters. I have more money but I need to rebuild the engine . HOw would you rebuild my engine?

Thanks

I would take it to a mechanic.
If you plan on doing it yourself here what to check and replace:
New piston and rings
Gaskets
Check the main bearings for play.
New cam chain.
Check cam & valves
Replace anything that needs to be replaced.
Check clutch plates.
Anything else that is worn out replace.

Definity buy a pipe and k/n filter. This will increase the power.
