Trinity 440 Holeshot King
#1
I went to the races this weekend at LACR and my Z took the holeshot by 10 bike lengths and pulled the pros on the straights. My gate was pro and intermediate combined with 250r's, a Banshee, and a few 440 ex's. With stock cams and ignition this thing hauled as$. By the way, Dyna has a present for me on Monday! Now I just need to find my stamina.....it's around here somewhere....

Yeah, These 400's really haul when tuned. I sold the yellow for a green then added FCR40mm carb, cams, 12.5:1 piston, Yoshi full{ from my 'ol yeller} and some pretty intensive port work {RHP}. It's hard to beleive how much faster than stock it is.

The 400 is still stock bore. Although it is way faster than stock, it still doesn't come close to the CRF450. I'm sure the 450 kits would make it closer to the CRF, but not faster than the Honda monster. The CRF and YZF are race motors, unlike the 450 kits on a recreation 400 motor. But I have to tell you guys, The green machine is a blast to ride!

Well, I am now 3 for 3 on my holeshots. I raced a grand prix this Saturday and got the holeshot over 2 686 Raptors, a DS650, a couple 440EX's, and a few modded 250r's. What can I say, the 440 kit just plain hauls as$. Also, Glen Helen is a very whooped out track and I cannot say enough about my TCS suspension. My fastest sections on the track were the whoop sections because the TCS shocks absorbed everything allowing me to stay on the throttle, while others were braking.

WP- Who made the 686's you were hole shoting? I rode Rodsquads kawi400 with more mods than yours. I was killing it although most 686's are not close to me. It was a major improvement and i would recommend it for sure. Have you gotten a dyno run from Harry?? I am looking for a back up quad and the Z, Kawi is looking good.
