Does somone actually know how many miles to the gallon?

 

25 mpg on the highway, 20 in the city. A couple of mpg less if you run the air conditioning.

i think your in the wrong sport

 

In September issue of ATV 4-wheel action, Wes Miller raced a stock Z400 in the Baja 500. He was running out of gas at about 50 miles and Yoshimura told him he should be good to about 80 miles. So maybe not racing, you could get somewhere in between that on a tank.

 

This is the most thirsty bike I have ever owned!! And, it has a smallish fuel tank too. IMS will have a desert tank out soon.

 

Well if you trail ride and don't hammer on the throttle all the time, 80 miles isn't to far fetched at all.

On the throttle all the time and about 30 miles to a tank, thats pit riding though.

So it can be either really good on fuel or really bad, its how you drive it.

 

This bikes sips, but it's the type of riding you do, I ride with my woman, she's slow, so in turn, I'm slow w/her. Poor me, gotta ride w/ my woman. hehehe
