is it possible to interchange some other intake boot of somtheing else to fit on my 92 lt 250 so that the carb sticks out the side so i can run a clamp on filter

 

i run an 89 lt500 boot on mine it is offset to the right side with K&N filter but you might need to run a bigger carb as the lt500s had bigger stock carbs

 

I am currently in the process of installing a 36 mm pwk on my lt250. can I use the stock carb boots? I can get the intake side on the carb but the air filter side is a SOB. does anyone have any tips? would heating the rubber up first help?
