Default LT 250R

Hey anyone ever have any probs with 250 quadracers having excess vibration when riding all PPMs.I get a bad vibration thru bars and pegs,really numbs you out.Have a zilla with no vibration.Maybe just unique to 250s or....................?????

I had that problem a couple of times. One was becuase the engine mounts were broke and other time the main bearings were out.

i have the same problem,i checked everything on mine and it still vibrates,but is like lt250r said check your engine mounts and make sure that you have the bottom engine spacer.make sure that your engine balancer is align,i hope this help if not pm me.

another possibility is your counter balancer, I have not had this problem but have heard others talk about it. When it gets something wrong with it their is vibration.

If it's an 85-86 model, they will have more vibration than the 87-92 models. I just bought a 91 model, the guy told me that the first 2 year models were basically the RM dirtbike model in an ATV frame. it did not have a counter balancer. Just what I was told.Bubba

I wish it was just an RM motor! The 85 and 86 Racers do have counterbalencers. the shaft goes the whole way through the motor and the counterweight is just inside the ignition cover. You have to line up the punch marks on the gears on the clutch side of the shaft when you put it back together. I just did this on mine when I ripped her down.
