Default How is the FMF Titanium 4?

I am lookin forward to buying a pipe and I hear a lot of good things about the Titanium 4. How much power do they give and how loud are they. Do you need to rejet? Is there any other pipe that would be better to get?

I have had mine for a couple of months, along with a PowerBomb Header--SITTING IN A BOX!! They backordered me on the mid pipe. I will post when I get it installed.

I'm interested in the FMF too. Does anyone know if it comes in anodized blue for the Z?

The Cannondale Blaze and Moto come stock with a FMF Ti4 pipe. They are a nice sounding pipe and produce good power. They are not real durable if they take a hit in a crash or a collision with another quad though, the titanium shell cracks pretty easily.

I have the MegaMax on my utilities. It does well on the utilities, but is NOT a pipe for a performance quad!! It just doesn't have the kind of flow a Z will need.

I have the FMF Ti4 on my Z and it is a great setup. It is VERY LOUD though so, you may want to get the spark arrestor tip.

see some videos with sound @ www.motoxpress.com/z400

There are two lengths of the Ti: a quieter AMA legal 17", and a louder 14". The length of a muffler can have an effect on performance. On the 2X4 Rancher I have a 14" MegaMax, and on the 4X4 a 17". The difference in noticeable!!

That is why I elected to go withthe 14" because they do offer a tip that makes it forest service worthy and when I am on the track or at the dunes, I can go with out it. Best of both worlds.
