Default Anybody have a cross over number for a z-400 oil filter?

I'm trying to help my friend find an oil filter for his Z.Every dealer within 100 miles is sold out and say's they are backordered.

My local A-zone has bike filters but no way to look them up.So does anybody know of a fram/stp/wix filter number? thx

Don't know the anwswer for your question but have you tried mail order from Yamaha Suzuki of Arizona or Midwest Action? They always advertise in Dirt Wheels and carry just about everything.

16510-29F00

that is the number for the zuki oil filter. all you have to do is go to your local bike shop and ask them to cross ref that number with whatever filter they carry. any place that sells oil filters will have a cross reference guide book for different filters.

Thanks for the responses.I thought my dealer was just being lazy or something. The filter is on "nationwide backorder".I drive a truck between Cali and nevada and have hit up every dealer I have found and they all say they dont have or cant get one.

Looks like Kawasuki wasn't prepared to sell this many bikes so fast and ran out of parts.

I believe it has more to do with those damn dock workers on strike out in Cali. They are holden up all kind of imported stuff.

I looked on K&N's website and they didn't have a oil filter listed. Where did you find that #? Thanks for the info.

Still no luck.I went everywhere with that number and no one had a crossover for it.I wonder how this will affect the warranty since his bike has 10 hours on it and is due for its first service.
