Shock settings?

One of the lastest dirtwheels mag. had an article and adjusting shocks. There are also alot of website's that explain the set-up.
Either do a search for it or check out these couple of sites:
Pro-action This is for dirt bikes, but atv use a similar if the same idea of adjusting.
Ohlins This is from cannondale's website on adjusting therer shocks.

30% for rear and 20% for front.
The % is of total travel with the rider on it. If your rear shock has 9" of travel then you should have close to 3" of sag when sitting on it. Same goese for the front. 10" of shock would be 2" of sag when sitting on it.
