Are you on or off the throttle when you hear this noise?
If you're off the throttle when you hear this noise is your EBS working? I know when I am going down steep hills on mine I am general not on the throttle and my EBS is working great and I hear no noise.
Boy in any case, I can't believe the belt is this loose to be hitting up against the casing. Are you getting any hesitation when you hit the throttle?
Are you in low range or high range when going down steep hills. If in high range try it in low range to see if the problems continues.
How many miles on hit?

the noise is coming when i leave off of the throttle. the machine is new with only 85 miles on it.this quad has never been underwater. it seems to me like the ebs is working fine but like i said this is my first auto.going to call the dealer right now and see what he has to say.

I think my quadmaster is making the noise you're describing, when on the rear brake causing a wheelhop. If so, I believe it's the rear brake linkage "floating", which is normal. Please post the dealer response so I can be sure too. Thanks.

well the dealer checked it out. they said it was normal to here this. i still think somehing is not right. iv`e found that if i work down a steep grade slowly and keep hitting the front brakes only it will make the same noise but not as bad.the noise is coming from the front part of the drive belt. is this where your noise is coming from?

Hi Demo, I don't have a QuadMaster, I elected to go with a manual because I ride in a lot of water.
But, I may be able to help you a little. When you go down a hill and apply one of the brakes, the quad has to adjust the other wheel speeds to match the one you are braking. This is especially true on the rear wheels as the back axle is positive traction. This could be causing the belt to jump and hit the case. If that's all it is, it's probably nothing to worry about. Wish you luck with it. If you do decide to put it under water, let me know how it performs. I've been
debating on getting one.
