can you just snip the black with red tracer wire going into the cdi box i have been studing the wiring and it seems if you cut it at the box you will still have the rev light? maybe i will try to pull the pin out of the connector anybody done this before i jump in ?

so i jus cut the small black wire right next to the yellow and red ones right? anything else?

 

as soon as i get mine back from the shop for the bad start button (melted) i will cut mine i think i will try to un plug the wire out of the conector just in case i need to bring it back for more warenty work i really should buy a dictionary

 

well i cut the wire i still have the reverse rev limiter and now i have to splice my harness back together i guess if you dont try you will never know

 

i tried that trick but i unhooked the wire from the harness so i wount have to splice it back toghter and WP is full of crap it dosent work i tried almost all of the wires at the cdi box i think wp is just lieing or not the truth about how he did it or he didnt do it at all
