cool head x overs

Default cool head x overs

will a cool head og a 85 quadracer fit a 92 or is it not reccomended and also will lt 500 rear hubs fit a lt250 a 92

Default cool head x overs

the cylinder head for 85-86 did not have the head stay bracket on the back side . 87-92 has one . i think it will fit but you might have to make a rear engine support bracket because it doesnt have the head stay . the hubs wont fit . check the number of splines on then axle vs the hub also check diameter . i have been told yes and no . so i do not know the positive answer .

don are you talking about the mount at the top of the head that connects to the frame. If so that doesnt really need to be bolted down. My experience with this if you jump alot it will cause your head to blow a gasket. Dont ask me why it does this but has happend many times so we have just left that top bolt out.

so by the sounds of it the hubs are not interchangable and the heads are correct?
