Quadzilla question
#1
Hey all,
I finally bought a LT500 and LOVE IT. But, I do have a question. It has been a while since i had a 2 stroke, a long while. Back in the day we would use regular oil with no detergents. So, I was a little confused when I asked for some oil at the motorcycle shop and they recommended Honda Trans oil. Is anyone familiar with this? Or should I just use Mobile 1 15/50 synthetic? Any help would be great. Thanks.

Do not...I repeat...DO NOT put syn. oil in the trany. Believe me I speak from experience. I t will soften up all seals it comes in contact with. Even the bastard seal behind the prim. gear!!! Any good quality trany oil made for 2 strokes will do fine. Personally I use BELRAY's gearsaver oil for 2 strk's and H1R in the gas at 30:1
