Who else has a 230??????
Dang that’s a long time to keep one bike! I got mine about 2 years ago. I was going to sell it after I got the Quadracer but changed my mind. When I get my next Quad Ill sell the Quadracer because it’s worth a lot more so Ill probably keep the Quadrunner for quite a while. I’m sold on 2 strokes now, but it can’t hurt to have an ol reliable 4-stroke backup.
Is a 230 Quadrunner the same as a 230 Quadsport? I’ve not heard of a Quadrunner 230, not an expert on Quads though.

Mine is an '86. It is a 230cc 4 stroke. It is 2 wheel shaft drive with 5 speeds and Hi and lo ranges. It has an odometer and tripmeter. The back rack drawfs even todays biggest quads. The front rack has trunk to it. It is like a cage. Great for a tackle box or 2 gal can of fuel. The dbl A arms up front are about 10 inches long, by far the smallest I've ever seen. The rear suspension is, well it is the tires and the seat. Mine has 2400 miles on it and it runs like a champ.

Another '86 lt230g, a real beater. Amazing what it has for an '86 model. Disc brakes front and rear, plenty of wheel travel, etc. But the beater part, the rear brakes don't work, almost all the plastic is gone or busted up, chain guides are pretty much wasted. Also the left fron tire (original) is missing a valve stem. That's right, there is no air in the tire but the tire sidewall is so heavy and the bead is stuck to the rim you never notice. It's been running for at least 3 years like that. But the dag-gum thing still runs great. Electric start and a reverse.
