What would be a good asking price for my 88 LT 500?

This quad won every race and every hole shot of the 88 season at Rattlesnake speedway NH (flat track) small time local race series, but fun!
Got a 4' tall trophy 1st place overall for the season to show for that season. That was a fun season, and then I moved to s FL. No hills to climb and no flat tracks that I could find. Started racing PWC.

This quad has been rode 4-5 times since 88, but has been started regularly.

The motor has never had the head off, all original. Never had a problem with the motor. Still has the same compression it left the showroom with. It always amazed me that I could beat guys with ported built motors with just bolt-ons and precise tuning.
This quad is in very good condition, basically only raced flat track for one season and always in front from start to finish.

Yes it would be well worth over 3 grand. Put it on ebay it will sell quick. Clean it up and takes some great pics.

 

A mint 89 500 around here just sold for $4200. But this bike was showroom condition with 5 hours on it. $3800 sounds good

I would set your price for $4200. You can always come down if you don't have any takers. Clean it up nice, make it shine. A good 250R can bring $3500. There's no reason a Zilla couldn't bring more in good condition.

 

Where in Florida do you live? Have you though about trading?
