Vinson Pricing
#1
Hi Folks.
Been luking awhile now, and have decided to join.
Well i'm looking to make the plunge into buying a bike, I'm stuck between a Yamaha Kodiak 450, and the Vinson.
Does anyone know what the dealers are paying for the Vinson, just want to know how much wiggle room I have.
Thanks
Oh buy the way this is a great site.

I got one at the beginning of January. 2003 Vinson Auto w/ 2500# warn plus 4 year warranty - 6400 out the door. No clue on what they paid for it. The 450 Kodiak would have been more for me and the dealer wouldn't budge on pricing.
Love the machine. Just wish there were more places to ride in WI. With the 0" of snow so far, hopefully the state opens up the useless snowmobile trails to help the businesses survive the winter.

I paid $5800 apiece for mine. That doesn't include tax, title, etc. It was around $6200-$6300 OTD

Try this site......http://www.atvprice.com
For $9.95 they provide dealer list pricing. Includes detail like ready to sell cost (dealer machine cost plus assembly cost) and give detail on holdback and wholesale incentives. Pretty good stuff. Some of it needs to be updated, but its a great starting point.
My issue is that I don't know what to offer above list....don't know what's fair in the ATV industry......anyone reading this thread have any ideas....what's the rule of thumb on this for ATVs......
