Yoshimura TEC option...

Yoshimura TEC option...
I bought a Yoshi slip on for my Z400 and it did not have a spark arrestor or anything. Do they come like this from Yoshimura(straight thru...just an end cap). I built my own Spark arrestor by looking at the TEC things on their website. Is it ok to run it without the extra tip the the TEC system has(other than sound).
