Anyone know how much horse power there is in a stock z400 susuki quad. And has anyone put the big bore kit from yoshimura in it and how does it run after. Any problems?

 

A lot of people say different numbers but what I heard was it has 35 hp stock but other company dynos say different. I have even heard as low as 29. I would say between 30-35 hp.

 

It seems to have the same specs as a drz400s and that puts it at 31 hp.
I have been wondering if any one has used parts from a drz400 E or K to give it 12 to 1 compresion or use the 39mm carb from one, or the big bore kits from thumper racing I think they have two one that brings it uip to 436, then a stroker crank to go to 470. but have heard nothing on this in the LTZ yet.

 

i have used the drz400k head and base gasket in my z it revs much quiker with more bottom end and was very cheap to do like $30 bucks very easy to install allso

 

At FSWII a piped and jetted Z was at 29 HP.... JMI

stock is about 30-31 dont listen to no other fools that say different

 

I don't know it might be right because some dyno's read lower than others. 14mins new stock raptor ran a 31hp off the showroom floor on the same dyno. And ppl say that a stock rappy dynos at around 35hp.... So i think its close... JMO

 

so... my kfx is pushing 29 hp with my ct racing full pipe&,155 jet?????? i'll meet you at glamis.
