The MBRP did not do well in the pipe shoot out. I have the HMF slipon. I have a couple holes in the lid and a 165 main. It made a big difference. The low and mid range is as good as a full pipe the full pipe is better on top a little.

raptorACDC, I am going to get the HMF slip on real soon..How many holes did you put in your airbaox lid and how big were they?
I was thinking about putting in some of those 1" round UNI vents in my lid... The HMF looks like is has some good gains from the dyno, my only concern is how loud it is...Do you have any comments or suggestions??

I like the power. It is no louder than others. They are all to loud. 5 one inch holes would be fine.

The MBRP pipe in the mag shoot out was jetted incorrectly. You can tell this by the graph it shows skipping in the upper rpm range, as well some of the other pipes. I've talked with others that have the MBRP and love it. It is a great looking pipe, decent price, not too loud and no repacking. I would not rule it out just because of a shoot out in a rag. I know I very seldom agree with any shoot out in any rag.
