I have done the same thing with street bikes. Broke them in just like I was giong to ride them and they turned out to be a little faster than my friends who did it by the book. Not to say that you couldn't blow it up this way but I think that if something is going to come loose it will do it then. I just bought a Z yesterday and took it to the sand. It doesn't feel as solid as my 400ex but I need to set it up for me. I hope it loosens up and gets a little more pop in the next few rides.

 

yea when i first got my z it was kind a dog, it wasnt as fast as when it got it back from the first service. once u break it in its a hole new 4wheeler trust me u wont be disapointed

 

Check your air pressure you may have extra in yours ...little larger tire ...
