evhwg - that price sounds about right. It just depends on the price of your piston, rings, gaskets, and bore. Where are you getting your replacement parts from? Also, are you using original Suzuki parts or aftermarket stuff......shop around a little for better prices if necessary. I normally order my own parts rather than have a mechanic or shop do it.

I just completed two top ends for my kids blasters (burned up two motors the same day???) I bought all parts on ebay (great deals). Here are the prices I paid: Wisco piston kit w/ pin bearing, including shipping - $75, gasket set: $20, bore $35 (0.20 over)(done at auto place - ran great), other cylinder done at Cascade Innovations for $45 (.060 over) - they mic the piston to the cyl. So, $130-$140 total if you do the labor which is very easy - a few hours time -I prefer this because you know it is done right.
Buy all the parts on ebay, save money, have fun!
BTW, I also picked up two complete sets of SS bolts for the Blasters for $12 each on ebay - about half what they cost at Home Depot.(I love ebay!)
