Default Question about cracked/broken Z frames.

I have seen that a couple people have had this problem on there Z400 has any one reported a KXF400 frame cracking? I think they have all been Z's. Just curious. I know they are the samething but I believe all of the reports have come from Z owners.

Default Question about cracked/broken Z frames.

Anyone who's going to ride hard and jump needs to gussett their frame for added strength. And the KFX's are the EXACT same machine as the Z, so their frames have the same strengths and weakness'.

Default Question about cracked/broken Z frames.

I know what you are saying Vooduu, but have you seen anyone post that there KXF has cracked the frame? I have only heard of a couple Z's and some are doing as preventative maintenance deal. But have yet to here of a KXF frame cracking.

I just found this kind of curious I have read several different threads on this forum and other forums but I have yet to read any thing about the KXF cracking.

Default Question about cracked/broken Z frames.

All depends on how much and how high you plan on launching a Z , I have not seen or heard anything on the
KFX , but we are all LAB RATS for the '03 Z's and KFX's

Once we brake all of ours they will make the improvements for the '04's

Brake in time really means brake down time , take advantage of the warrenty , and extend it .

I have a detailed item for item extended warrenty for the next 3 years , I have not had to use it yet (knock on wood)
but there are going to be flaws , it all depends on which day your KFX/Z was built or if it was built before lunch or after..
