eiger question?
#1
i am getting a new atv in a week or so and am thinking about going with the eiger, the only thing is from the pictures i've seen the nose on the eiger looks like it hangs out alot. is this just the way it appers or is it really longer than most atv's in it's class, and for people who drive eigers does the nose ever make it hard to turn and manuver thru tight places?
Thanks,
Thanks,

The overhang look is mostly appearences, although the Eiger is a full size 4x4. Sitting next to my brothers Prairie 650 the two are almos identical in size. No problem with turning - The Eiger is very manuverable and has very light steering, plus there is more than enough power to kick the back end out and just spin it around.
I've taken mine through some very tight trails and have never dug the nose in or had any problems with the size. It's a great bike, you'll like it.

I do, the Rancher is old school..... Suzuki decided 2 years ago to make some quality ATV's and they made the Vinson which won ATV of the year and they made the Ozark which is the best entry level ATV, and the EIGER won last years middle class shootout in ATV action magazine, and they did another shootout for Auto's just this month and the EIGER won....AGAIN. Man its a kick *** machine and get the 4X4 if you can....

The Eiger nose does stick out a bit, but I don't mind it and like the looks of it. My tailgate won't quite close because of it, but I just strap it down. It is a great bike and one thing about the front end is it accommodates a winch nicely and my 2000 warn looks good on it. Just put some Mud Lites on it also. It actually steers easier than it did before. They are not a big tire, maybe a little taller than stockers but much more aggressive. They are really lite for a 6-ply tire too. I'd say they are as lite as the dunflops and I didn't lose any speed either, like you can with heavier tires.
