Default Sprocket change

I know going down a tooth in the front gives you better low end and up in the back is better top end but what does changing both do? I think stock on the Z is 14/40. If you were to change to a 13/41 what will it accomplish? I would think it would be the same as stock but what the he!! do I know.

You would have a little more low end because changing a front sprocket has 2-3 times more effect than changing the rear. It wouldn’t make much sense to change both though unless you are trying to super tune your gearing. Even then, it would be best to change one at a time.
