Default Ozark vs Trail Boss

I am going to buy a new atv this weekend. It looks like it will be one of these 2. Mainly going to be a trail riding machine. We need a second machine, and I want something that will be comfortable and have a good ride. I love the suspension and huge seat of the Boss. How is the suspension and seat comfort on the Ozark? Would you recomend this machine over the Trail Boss? Thanks for any help!

Well it depends, do you want the best or not? Suzuki Ozark is the best 250 class ATV.....PERIOD, and it is comfortable and has the best suspension for that class. Go Suzuki Ozark, I would have bought one but my dealer couldn't hold on to them long enough, plus my wife/daughter prefered the Electronic Shifting on the Recon.

The seat on the Ozark is kinda of short, but the ride is good. That would be my only complaint about the Ozark. It is a great ATV. I was choosing between those two last year and I picked the Ozark over the Trail Boss. I preferred having the shaft drive over the chain driven Trail Boss. The Ozark is lighter and I believe the Trail Boss is geared lower than the Ozark so it would not run as fast.

Default Ozark vs Trail Boss

I just bought the Ozark for the wife and I rode it Yesterday in some whooped out trails and some mountain goat trails etc. It will climb stairsteps, loose rocky trails etc. with ease, NO clutch to worry about and geared low enough to put in 1st and crawl up or down most any hill I could find. I could easily bottom out the front in the Whoops, but there were NO suprises in the way it handled them. It's no match for my KFX400, but is a fun and easy to ride quad. If you want speed, it's NOT the fastest quad on the block, and you might want something more sporty, Like the new LTZ 250 or EX 250. She said it was nice to ride, BUT complained about the wide seat/tank, Quite large compared to my KFX/LTZ 400 and a little harder to get up on the tank for hill climbs. I tried to get her to buy the EX 250 or wait for the LTZ 250, but she liked the floor boards and racks ??? I did notice it is a little hard to shift up under power, but is NEW and I hope it gets better.

Just My Humble Opinion
