ok i just got a z400 and it felt pretty fast for a while, but that went away..i guess the new wore off of it like everything else i own.. what's the single most hands down best mod for the z400... not big bore kits

 

Well you only have a few things to choose From on the bolt on mods, Pipe, Carb, Air Filter kit, Ignition.........but you can get dramatic results from this. My first buy would be the pipe and air filter kit. I would recommend CT, HMF, LRD, Sparks, or a race FMF or white Bros. Then later add the ignition from Dyna and the 41mm FCR Carb........A friend of mine has all the bolt on and this Z rips...... Hope this helps

 

If you only do 1 mod, it has to be taking off the airbox lid (or cutting a hole and putting an outwears type material there).
