Default z400 mods or setups???

hey just picked up a new 2003 z300..i was wondering what you prefer as modifications or setups..im loking for increased speed and hp(pipes, filters, etc.)

Default z400 mods or setups???

Just by removing the airbox lid and properly rejetting, you'll gain a significant amount of low end torque and some high end HP.

I also opened up my stock exhaust for a little bit of power gain.

Check the "mods" at my site and post questions here if you want to know more (I haven't finished the "articles" yet so it's just a bunch of random thoughts)

For the money, you can't beat the HMF slipon and open up the lid with a 165 mikuni main jet. But IMO, shocks should be the first mod. Mine rides and handles a lot better!

Stage 1: Slipon, jet, airflow ( +4-6 hp gain)
Stage 2: Carb (+3-6 hp gain)
Stage 3: Big bore (+5-10 hp gain)
Stage 4: Turbo/Alky (+ one dead bike) [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]
