Default Vinson DynoJet Kit???

I have put DynoJet kits in both of my Vinsons. They improved bottom end and midrange acceleration. I run them with the stock air filter.

Hope this helps.

Default Vinson DynoJet Kit???

Where did you get the Dynojet Kit for the Vinson. Can you give me the part #? Also, I don't know much about increasing the power on quads, so how much difference would this kit make with a K&N filter? And how big of a difference would it have on fuel consumption?

Default Vinson DynoJet Kit???

I bought my kit directly from Dynojet at www.dynojet.com You can go to their web site and get the kit number, I don't remember it off hand.

I think they're cheaper from Rocky Mtn ATV.

A K&N filter would help a lot in my opinion. I don't think K&N makes a filter yet for the Vinson even though Rocky Mtn ATV lists one in their catalog, they're always "out of stock".

UniFilter and Twin Air make aftermarket foam filters for the Vinson. The K&N filter is reusable cotton cloth.

I hope I'm wrong because I've been periodically bugging K&N via e-mail to make a Vinson air filter. If you can buy one, let me know where please.

Re: fuel consumption, I couldn't tell the difference. My Vinson's usually get between 25-30 mpg. I usually ride above 6000 ft. altitude and I'm jetted for that altitude. Owners that live closer to sea level may see worse gas mileage because they're probably jetted a little richer. The type of riding one does also affects mpg.

Hope this helps.

Default Vinson DynoJet Kit???

i got my dynojet kit for my vinson from the dealer. the kit # is Q311 . personaly i didnt notice one bit of differance with the kit. i followed the kits instructions. there jets are numbered differently, and appear to be smaller. i have ran another vinson time and time again in every kind of condition. we are allways even. plus the dealer ripped my head off for the kit. 84 bucks for a couple of jets a needle and spring. i would recomend going to the dealer and trying the next jet up and shim the needle.
