z400 jetting

hey guys just curious, have any of you guys that rejetted the Z with the dynojet have problems with it beeing to lean per the instructions. The instructions for Stage 1 tell me to put the clip on the needle in position 3 for below 5000 feet, also main jet with aftermarket exhaust and stock airfilter to DJ120 for 3000-6000 feet. Turn airscrew 3.5 turns out for below 5000 feet. I did all that and it still is lean I think. So my question is did any of you turn the screw out further than what the instructions say? Any help would be great.

I am not a jetting expert , but last night I finally installed my CT exhaust and we changed the main jet to a Mikuni 155 and airscrew 3 turns out . With the K&N and airbox lid off it seems to run fine , wont be riding it till Monday
That is all we did we did not change the pilot or adjust anything else , CT e-mailed me to just change the main

I've been having problems with mine to, I bought the yoshi system, dyno jet kit and pro flow filter combo. I live in southern Ohio and it called for a 142 and the needle in the second position I've removed the snorkel and installed vents in the lid so I installed a 150 and the plug is still white all I have left is a 155 and I'm going to give it a try and probably adjust the needle, I did turn the air screw out 1 1/2 turns which is what they said to do. I'd like a little info on this as well any one else got any ideas?

FsT4WrD...Did you get to take a ride with the new CT. Thats the pipe I'm thinking of getting. how do you like it. It's between the CT and the Pro Circuit. I think the CT looks better. Was it an easy install? Were the jetting instructions on....
