Default air filter Z/KFX??

I will be buying a new air filter soon for my KFX 400 wondering which one you guys recommend and if I will need any additional parts other than the filter?

Thanks

Default air filter Z/KFX??

I love my pro design filter with adapter, even though it was kind of a struggle to put on. If I had to do it again I would buy a K&N filter and adapter since they seem to flow a little better. Im not sure about what the climate is like where you live, but in Vegas there is no water so a non-foam filter would work just fine.

I have a K&N and an alba max flow adapter and it hooks up good.

I'm kinda sitting in the same boat as TeamGrn. I do have a question about the adapters I keep reading everyone talk about. Is that a necessity for a K&N because it doesn't fit quite right or is it just another performance mod?

This place seems to carry a nice adapter setup. Noss Machine I haven't heard anything negative yet. I personally run the CFM aluminum airbox with Uni Filter and thrilled with it's results.

The K&N does not fit on it without the adapter. When u get the adapter it makes the K&N fit plus supposively give better air flow

Honestly, just the filter and the adapter alone you wont feel that much at all but with it helps out when you get a pipe on and more engine mods.

yeah I've already got a pipe and I've rejetted it, removed the snorkel, and the air lid.
With the filter that's pretty much going to be all the engine mods I'll be doing for awhile I want to start with the suspension next...a-arms and swing arm and shock
