Hey has anyone installed the Hotcam Intake cam in their Z? I hear the power increase is great and was wondering what you think. Also, how hard was the install? Thanks

 

I'm doing mine next week. From the reports the mid-range and topend gains are very good. With little to no loss on the bottom end. There's a few guys at Z central running the intake cam. All of them have positive responses. The installation is suppose to be cake. Approx. 1 hour work ifi your familar with the quad.

 

I saw a dyno of a Z that had cams, exaust, DRZ base gasket and head porting that was at 46 horsepower. That's without a big bore and carb. Yes, the Z motor is sweet.
