HELP PLEASE! axle bearings

i have a 230 quad that after jacking up and checking 4 play needs new bearings. problem is i dont know where to start. any help would be appreciated.thanks in advance[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img]

Do you need help on where to start disassembling the axle? If so, you take off the left wheel+hub then loosen the two axlenuts (one by one). Then take off your sprocket hub (you might have to heat it up and press it off). Loosen the carrier. Your axle should just slide out of the carrier.
Now to remove the bearings you 1. take out the carrier 2. remove the outer seals 3. insert an aluminum or brass drift (punch like object) into one side of the carrier. 4. push the center collar over to one side and place the drift on the inner race of the opposite bearing. 5. tap the bearing out of the hub with a hammer working around the perimeter of the inner race. 6. Remove that bearing and the center collar and tap out the other bearing the same way.
