Default Ozark 250 vs z250

I will be purchasing either the ozark 250 or the z250. I just wanted to know what u guys thought would be best for me. Heres some of my background info, im 5 foot 6 inches, 130 pounds, i will be using it for trail riding, no pulling or plowing.
I never even looked at the z250, but it seems like it would be a better off road bike than the ozark, it has more ground clearence, and its lighter, the only thing that seems like a bad thing is the only color is yellow, but that wouldn't stop me.

How is its low, mid, and top end? Is it peppy?
What is a good aftermarket pipe/exhaust, and do i rele need one.
What would u get?
And what mods do you think are necessary?
Whats your overall rating of this quad?
THX.

bottom line is do you want a utility or a sport quad? based only what you said you'll use it for, i'd go Z250. also the Z250 comes in yellow AND white. the white is pretty sweet looking! test ride them both, then decide what's best for you. both seem like great quads.

well i thought i needed a utility quad, now i dont needa polaris 700cc or the vinson or anythin like that, i mean sport utility, like the beartracker or the ozark, but when i saw the specs for the z250, it seems like a better offroad machine than either of these two sport utility quads, so if the z250 out performs the ozark off road then id rather have that, from a spec point of view the z250 being a sport quad would still be a better off road and more powerfull because of lighter weight, same motor, more suspension, and only $400 more, and at a dealer that would prob be like $3600 so im thinkin z250, but i would like some riders of the z250 to tell me if this is a good offroading machine.

well your not going to get a lot of feed back on the performance of the Z250 because it's not out yet. the dealers should be getting them around the end of April or beginning of May. The Z250 is said to have 30% more power than the ozark so it should be a great trail machine. you'll probably have to pay top dollar for the Z since it's a brand new model. better deals can be found on the ozark.

o dam i didn't know that it was bran new, would u still get it even tho it would be its first year, cause the first year is when all the problems are, the second year is when the usually fix any problems.

We have an Ozark and I can tell you I have been pleasantly surprised at how much fun it is to ride. I often jump on it instead of the P650 because it's FUN! It is light, handles well and is very responsive...the 250 is a surprisingly gutsy little engine. One big advantage of the Ozark over the new 250 is REAL fenders (mud in no fun w/o sizeable fenders). Just my 2 cents

I don't think you have to wait because it's "new". It is basically the same thing as the Ozark except for the plastic, tires and suspension. Maybe they will change the carb, head or something.
SAME MOTOR, SAME DRIVE-SHAFT, SAME QUAD with a couple little changes. If you are considering buying the Ozark there is no reason not to buy the Z250. Unless you want a utility quad. The only downfall is that the dealers are less likely to go down on the price.
