first ride of the year. and what else but 2nd. gear is making a bad noise. it only makes it in 2nd. under power, not when just putzin around. it clunks and it sounds like it is sliping. slips and grabs. any idea

I've had this problem with a dirtbike of mine. A few teeth are broke or worn off the gear, and this explains the slip-grab problem. Get the wrenches out.......

 

do I find a bone yard or do I go new? do I replace all the gears or just the broken ones
