Eigerman, you're taking the plunge wednesday, hey? Good for you. If I had it to do all over again, I don't think I'd have gotten the vinson. Hung it up in the mud again on Saturday, even worse than before. Perhaps no machine would have made it thru that area, I don't know, but I find myself wondering, "what if...". Looks like I'm going to have to dump some money into it to try to raise it up, then worry about suspension and drivetrain holding up. Hmmm. If there wasn't so much darn swamp around where I live I'd say I love this machine. Right now I'm a little low on enthusiasm, though. Where the heck are ya? Id love to buy a used one but i had a bad experience with the last used one i bought so i have to go with a new one. Luckily i dont have that many swamps around here, just on my grandfathers huniting land but i have never had trouble going through it so i shouldn't have to worry about it. Plus i would rather have the rear swingarm because it gives the four wheeler a more sporty feel, at least thats what i think.

 

Ok, well, I wasn't entirely serious, my better half would kill me if I sold this to buy a different one, it only has 10hrs/60 miles on it. If someone wanted it, though, I'd probably unload it and take the abuse from her.

 

My Vinson is mechanically stock, though not for long. I did however upgrade my tires. For the winter I have 27" ITP 589's mounted on ITP C-series rims. They look very bad-***. For the spring and summer I use The stock front tires and rims And I have Titan 589 M/T mounted on stock rims. the summer tires are all 25''. The 27"s will slow the Quad down a bit but it still pulled away from the500 H.O. I have NEVER gotten stuck with the 27"s though I might just be lucky. I also have never gotten stuck with the Titans on the rear either. I have about 700 trouble free miles on the Vinson exept for a gear selector recall and ugrade.Good luck with your new Vinson!!!!
