Yamaha didn't get hit as bad with lawsuits as Honda and Suzuki because they didn't have a 250 race quad. Plus they didn't have the Banshee until 1987. Suzuki had the LT250 out in 1985, and Honda followed the following year. Honda dropped their entire line down to like 5 machines (all utility) in 1990. 250R and 250X were gone. 250X returned the following year. Suzuki kept the LT250 until 1992, but I think sales weren't too good for it so they dropped it. 1990 was the last year for the Quadzilla. Only Suzuki sport quad from 1993 to 2003 was the LT80.
Yamaha did drop their mini lineup that consisted of a Zinger 60 and YFM80. I would really like to find a 4-zinger for my son in a couple years. Coolest looking mini ever.

Yep, too many $$$ hungry lawyers!
Not enough ballz to finger their nose at the lawyers and continue to give us what we really want... (Like Yammie did)
(STill my complaint today)
Sounds like Gas Gas will be my next machine.... You listening Honda?? Suz??? Give us another HP 2-Stroke!!

they said why SuZi & Honda dropped the LT & 250R above, and because they don't have the gonads to build one again, i too am buying a Gas Gas... mine is on it's way now, hopefully here on friday.
just like the movie 'field of dreams' said.... "build it and they will come" in this case, buyers.
