Default Z250 Does 74mph!!!!!

On my trailer behind my Chevy.

Just got back from picking up my Wife's New Z250. I think it is going to be a neet little quad. She isn't going to get a chance to ride it for several days, due to the constant down-pour going on here in the beautiful state of Washington. With the way it has been raining, I've already been building an Arc in my back yard, now I need to find room for another quad amongst all the Animals that are showing up Two by Two.

To answer the next question, I payed $4997 OTD. I got a Aluminum Front Bumper, Aluminum Rear Skid Plate, and a Team Suzuki Yosi slip on Muffler. They already have a ton of aftermarket stuff for these quads, but it is REDICULUS what they are asking for them. I was going to get the Flame Graffics and Seat Cover for it, but it would have been ($130 Graffics + $80 Seat Cover) $210.00 MORE. As it was, I got a 10% discount on the Skid and Bumper and they marked the Slip-On down from $399 to a little over $300, and installed it.

List price, plus everything I got should have been right around $5400 OTD including Tax, License, Setup and Delivery (Their BS Add-ons), and Parts (Around $630 worth list price). Right now it is like getting Blood from a Rock, getting them to deal on this quad. I'm sure it can be done, but I don't have the time or patients to spend that much time dealing with them. All in all, I did OK. We will have to wait and see if it was worth it.

I bought it in Vancouver, WA. I got a better deal than most would have because I have bought 4 quads from them, plus I have brought some of my friends to them that resulted in purchases. Like I said, later on, I think that better deals can be had on this quad, it's just that right now, because it is so new, and the low number of them out there, they don't have to deal as much as they will in the future. In all, I am Very happy with the deal that I got. It was done and I was out the door in less than an 45 minutes.

Yes, it really does 74mph on the TRAILER BEHIND MY CHEVY.

I will give my impressions on it, once we have had a chance to take it for a ride.

RPM- Congrats on the newest quad in your stable. One of my buddies bought an Ozark the day I got my V Force and he is very happy with it. This is his first quad and he plans on giving it to his wife when he graduates to a 400. The Z250 looks like a good value for $3899.

Did the pipe make a big difference, or did you get to ride it stock?

Here are the Pics.

Your standard semi-side and 3/4 rear.

A couple Pics of the Rear Swing-arm, Aluminum Rear Skid-Plate and Yoshi Muffler.

The big difference between the Z250 and the Ozark is the heavier cross brace, as well as the beefier rear axle housing and the fact that the Reservoir Shock is mounted to the cross brace instead of the rear-end as it is on the Ozark.

Just an Engine shot.
z250 Motor

Funny thing is that on the Ozark, the Motor is so covered up that you can hardly see it, and on the Z250 it is exposed and actually looks big for a 250.

pairof98s,

I never got a chance to ride it before the Muffler was changed. It is just a Slip-On, so I would guess that it isn't going to make a 5hp gain or anything. I will have to wait and see how it feels when we get a chance to take it for a spin. I can compare it to how the Ozark feels, and I will let everyone know what I think.
