the z400 frame will self distruct if ya race it...the raptor is far from light..but it is fast...and the pred? my friend jus bought one...and so far he likes it a lot. If your gonna race...the honda is what u see on the track the most. So go figure

if you want to race buy the predator more bang for the buck. if you want to wheelie buy the z400 it is a real good wheelie machine.if you want to keep your local dealerships parts department busy and if you got the $ for parts then buy the craptor what happened to yamies r&d on that atv been a pos since it came out a few years back and still a pos today go ahead and bash me i dont care i have proof. weak a arms i meen junk, starter gear on flywheel you know what im talking about and the list is like the energizer bunny it keeps going and going and going and going and going and going and going come on yammiehahaha the craptor is a joke.

I totally agree on the Raptor part Predator530. My friend has had all those problems while racing his. And he still doesn't get rid of it. He's stuck about 12 grand in his and still has problems.

theres another pos and what i dont understand is that people defend the craptor when they themselves know it is a pos if you got to have a yammiehahaha buy the ole warrior no it is not a beast but it is a real reliable machine.just posting my opinions inwhich every1 has the right to do so

Get a Pred if you are into racing. The Raptor is the worst one of these three for the track. It's just a wierd quad, that's how i feel every time i have ever rode one. To tall and narrow and they vibrate a lot. I would take a z over a Raptor. A Raptor gets a Z in a drag but so what, how often do you really drag and do you have any areas where you can top your quad out?

A Raptor on a drag isnt going to beat the Z400 all that bad, I think the Z400 will give the Raptor a run for its money with 260cc less displacement! Oh where do you top out your Quad? Dont you have a road or highway near your house? hah.
Besides can a cop climb ditches and go through fields with the Crown Vic? Doubt it.

The Z's only problem is with the front shock mount to the frame. Can be gusseted quickly and cheeply.
The Raptor is a great dune quad, but has a lot of problems, handling, starters, tranny, etc.
The Predator seams like a good quad at a great price, but those posts on the trannys scare me a little, and the lack of reverse makes it a pain in the azz out on the trail.
Still happy with my Z purchace las spring, nothing better for my needs yet. Im still waiting for a new yamaha or honda 400 cc - 500 cc though.
