Default Installing a .010 piston

I have a 1981 Honda ATC 250R, I am installing a .010 piston, I need to bore the cylinder about .006 to achieve the recommended .002 piston to cylinder clearance. what is the process? can it be honed? is this cylinder nickle plated? if so does it require a sleeve replacement. or do I just have it machined? if so what about the nickle plating if it has it. What should machining cost?
Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Default Installing a .010 piston

Just take the cylinder and new piston to a automotive machine shop.
They will do what is needed for usually less than $50.
When you get it back be sure to wash the cylinder good with soap and water, dry it, and put a coat of oil on it.
