Get your weight to the front of the seat/handlebar area and practice feathering the clutch/throttle. It really is all about learning how much throttle you can give her before dumping the clutch, and that is all practice practice practice.

like scooter said. its all about how you handle the bike. i used to race mx with my twin 350 banshee. it didnt take long to figure it out for me but this is what i did and maybe it will help you. i'd put the bike in 2nd gear, hold the front breakes very tight, throttle up to where it is hard to keep the bike stopped, then dump that damn clutch and give the throttle all she's got. of course you nedd to be setting up on the gas tank and hunkered down low. this is how i gott all of my wholeshots and won lots of races. remember,-- timing is everything, practice that and you'll be faster in about 2 hrs of practice. hope this helps. any more questions pm me or just write me back here on this topic. NOTE: took my banshee to the blacktop race track for dragsters, put slicks on my bike and gave her hell just seen how fast she'd really go. my top end was 114mph. what a rush!!!!!!!!!
