how to remove nylon snow pants from exhaust pipe

can any one help me i was riding my banshee and my nylon snow pants melted to my new crome exhaust pipe it looks like crap how do i get it off its liked baked on thanks

sand paper, brillo pad, etc.... probably too abrasive for your chrome finish though!
