Default How to get pipe of off a 250R?

My 205R has a two piece Paul Turner pipe on it. I got the silencer off, and the pipe springs are off. The pipe won't come apart where it is sealed together. The only other option I can see at this point is removing the tie rods, and probably the steering stem and steering stablizer which would be a huge pain in the ***. Even then I am not positive I can get it off the bike. I am basically wanting to get the motor out of the quad so everything can be checked out. I wasn't really planning on taking everything off the frame at this point. Once I make sure the motor is ok, then I'll go from there. Anybody got any ideas???
