Diagnotic blink codes Sportsman X2
#1
Anyone know what the blink code 22 & 61 is? I have a check engine icon and checked the blink codes. Also, how do I reset the icon after I fix the problem, or will it disappear on its own?

22-throttle position sensor high
61-end sequence
code 61 tells you there are no more codes and is at the end of the scan.
after its fixed it will dissapear.

Hey grassmaster
This is right out of a 2006 sportsman 500 X2 owner's manual
Programmable service interval - flashing wrench icon
This is usually set a 50 hrs once your machine leaves the factory.
To enter the diagnostic mode.
1. Turn the key switch off and wait 10 seconds.
2. Lock the parking brake
3. Place the transmission in neutral.
4. Hold the mode/reverse override button and turn the key on.
5. Release the key as soon as the display is activated.
Note- There are 6 different screens.
Diagnostic Mode
Screen 5 - setting service hrs- flashing wrench.
To set the service hrs. press and hold the mode/ override until the wrench icon flashes.
When it begins to flash, release the button. The setting will increase by 1 hr. each time
the button is pressed. When the wrench stops blinking your service hrs. are set.
To turn the wrench off, Press and hold the mode button for about 7 seconds until the word OFF appears.
To leave the diagnostic mode, turn the key off and on.
