Exclamation carburetor issues, please help!!!!

I have a 03 yamaha warrior and there is something wrong with the carb. When ever I turn on the gas, the carb fills up and the gas just pours out of the overflow tubes. It will even do it if I get the engine started, I've only started it once since this has happened. I'm not sure what could be the issue and why the gas doesn't stop coming. Please let me know what you think could be the problem.
Thanks

take the carb off and clean it real good paying special attention to the float bowl area. there is a pin that should shut off the fuel to the carb and its not either from gunk in it or it is wore.

Either your float is sticking or you need to clean your idle jet.
