Default HELP! 03 raptor wont start

Hey guys i have an 03 yamaha raptor 660. My buddy rolled it over today and screwed up the front A arms. after we fixed all that i took it for a ride and when i went to stop the thing shut off. i had some smoke coming from the left front of the quad like around the head light. I figured it was from a puddle i went through. then it wouldnt start the starter kicks on but it doesnt turn the motor over. It wouldnt coast start either. Any ideas, its full of gas oil looked full no puddles under the quad at all. thanks for all and any help. im a new quad owner so i dont know too much about them so ill greatly appreciate the help.

i don't think this is in the right section, i'll prob get in trouble for posting to this in here..BUT lol

when you say the motor doesn't turn over, do you mean it doesn't crank? or does it crank but just not start?

if it cranks and just doesn't start, check for spark. Are you getting spark? if your not then theres some tests you need to run to determine why you aren't getting spark.

I believe you got something wet therefore it now wont start. Yes do check the plug for wetness and the Spark plug cable itself!

P.S. Welcome to the forum. If you have more questions post them in the Yamaha section for some better answers!
