I have a vinson that will not go over 22 mph and i know the carb is good. On the speed sensor there is a wire that has a little part ripped off the isolation but that only goes to the display on the dash. I can only think of is possibly the CDI went partly bad if that is possible. I would like all the help i could get. Is it possible i connection could have came undone. I would like to go riding this weekend. Any help would help me. Thanks.

 

Will the engine rev all the way when in neutral? Is it an auto or manual shift? And last does it pop or bog when you reach the 22mph mark?

 

In neutral it will rev all the way to the rev limiter but once in gear at 22 it sounds like the rev limiter. It is auto. Thanks
