I've got an 03 250ex . Wouldn't turn over. Took jug off n can see thrust washer is screwd up. I'm guessing ill have to change the crank n wondering what all ill have to do to accomplish that.

 

you should purchase a service manual, it will save you time and they get into more detail to help you. you may not be able to accomplish the whole task yourself (tools permiting) but atleast with the manual you can prep it before you bring it to a service shop you trust

 

im kinda handy what specialty tools would i need? what would it take to change just the rod?
